Mr David Fu is currently the President of The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS).
Mr Fu joined the Swire group as a Group Management Trainee in 1988 and has worked with the group in Hong Kong and Beijing. He is responsible for the full spectrum of the group’s company secretarial functions, and has been Company Secretary of Swire Pacific Limited, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited since January 2006 and of Swire Properties Limited since February 2010.
Mr Fu has been a member of the Takeovers and Mergers Panel and the Takeovers Appeal Committee of the Securities and Futures Commission since April 2015. He has been a member of the Standing Committee on Company Law Reform since February 2017.
Mr Fu graduated from the University of Oxford in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering, Economics and Management and obtained a Master of Arts degree from the University of Oxford in 1991. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Administration from the City University of Hong Kong.
Mr Fu was admitted as a Fellow of HKICS and ICSA in 2012. He was elected as a Council member of HKICS in 2014 and as the President for 2018. He also holds a Practitioner's Endorsement issued by HKICS. He served on the Institute’s Education Committee as a member from 2014 to 2015 and as the Chairman from 2016 to 2017. He has been the Honorary Secretary of The Oxford and Cambridge Society of Hong Kong since 1999.

Prior to joining HKEX, Ms. Lee worked in an international investment bank dealing with regulatory and compliance matters and in private practice as a solicitor in both Hong Kong and international law firms in Hong Kong.

Ms Katherine Ng joined HKEX in July 2013 as Head of Policy Team of the Listing Department. Prior to joining HKEX, Ms. Ng served as Political Assistant to the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong Government. Before joining the Government, Ms. Ng had worked in an international investment bank and was in private practice with an international law firm in Hong Kong and London. Ms Ng holds a Master of Arts in Law from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified lawyer in both Hong Kong and England & Wales. Ms Ng is an Advisor to Our Hong Kong Foundation, a Board Director and Chair of the Education and Development Committee of Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, a director of Charitable Choice Limited, a member of the Vocational Training Council’s Banking and Finance Industry Training Board, a Trustee of the World Wide Fund for Nature Hong Kong and a fellow of the Aspen Institute.

Ms Edith Shih is Executive Director and Company Secretary of CK Hutchison Holdings Limited, a Fortune 500 company with an annual revenue of over $400 billion, at which she heads up a team of over 230 legal counsel and 60 corporate secretarial executives, stationed in 60 offices in 20 countries. Ms Shih has been with the CK Hutchison Group for almost 30 years, overseeing all legal, regulatory, corporate finance and compliance matters of the Group. In addition, she acts as Director and Company Secretary in subsidiaries and associated companies of the CK Hutchison Group, overseeing the management of such businesses.
Ms Shih holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Arts (Education) from the University of the Philippines and a Master of Arts (TESOL) degree and a Master of Education (Applied Linguistics) degree from Columbia University, New York. She is qualified to practice law in England and Wales, Hong Kong, and Victoria, Australia. She is in addition a Fellow of The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) and The Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA). She also holds a Practitioner's Endorsement issued by HKICS.
Ms Shih is a Past President of HKICS, current Senior Vice-President, Executive Committee member and Chairman of the Thought Leadership Committee of ICSA at which she is President–elect to take office on 1 July 2018. She has been the Chairman of HKICS Company Secretaries Panel since 2012. She holds key roles in numerous panels and committees of public services, regulatory and professional bodies. She is a member of the Audit Professional Reform Advisory Group and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Governance Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a member of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ), the Securities and Futures Appeals Tribunal, the Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme Vetting Committee (PASS), the Financial Reporting Review Committee and the Process Review Panel for the Financial Reporting Council, the Human Resources Committee of HKUST, HKU MBA Advisory Board and Council and Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Management Association. Ms Gillian Elizabeth Meller is a Vice-President of The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) and serves as the Chairman of the HKICS Professional Development Committee and the Technical Consultation Panel - Technology Interest Group.
Ms Meller is currently the Legal and European Business Director of MTR Corporation Limited (Stock Code: 66). She is responsible for the provision of commercial legal support and advice to all aspects of the company’s business. In addition to her responsibility for the strategic management of the company’s insurance programmes and its governance and risk management function, she also manages and oversees the growth of the company’s European Business.
Ms Meller graduated from Hertford College, University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and holds a Master of Arts degree in Geography. She then obtained her postgraduate qualifications in law from The College of Law in Guildford, the United Kingdom. She also completed the Stanford Executive Programme at Stanford University, United States of America, in 2010. Ms Meller is qualified to practise as a solicitor in Hong Kong and England and Wales. She is a Member of the Standing Committee on Company Law Reform in Hong Kong and a Vice Chairman of the Legal Committee of The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. Ms Meller is Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and HKICS.

Mrs Natalia Seng is the Chief Executive Officer – China & Hong Kong of Tricor Group and an Executive Director of Tricor Services Limited (Tricor). Tricor is the largest corporate service provider in Asia with operations from 37 cities in 20 countries/territories throughout Asia and worldwide. Mrs Seng holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Executive) from City University of Hong Kong and her professional practice area covers business advisory, corporate governance, fiduciary services and regulatory compliance for private and listed companies. She is Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and HKICS.
Mrs Seng is a Chartered Secretary, a Past President (2007–2009) and a retired Council Member (1996–2012) of HKICS, and a retired Council Member (2010–2014) of ICSA in England. Mrs Seng has been appointed by government as a member of the Standing Committee on Company Law Reform (SCCLR) for another term of two years (February 2018–January 2020). She represented HKICS as a member of an Advisory Group on the Rewrite of the Companies Ordinance. Mrs Seng is also a Fellow of The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK).

Mr Peter Reading is a legal counsel of Equal Opportunities Commission. He is an international human rights lawyer who has working in the field of human law and advocacy for 18 years in Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, Commonwealth countries, and most recently in Hong Kong China.
Since November 2012, Peter has been working as Legal Counsel at the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) in Hong Kong. In his role he has been leading the EOC’s Discrimination Law Review project to modernise all the existing discrimination legislation in Hong Kong relating to sex, disability, race and family status. He has also been instrumental in the EOC’s legal work relating to promoting equality for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) groups. This has included the work relating to introducing LGBTI anti-discrimination legislation, the rights of cohabiting same sex couples, as well as introducing gender recognition legislation for transgender people.
Peter has also held a number of other positions recently, since 2009, Peter has been a regular speaker at the European Academy of Law in Europe where he lectures on European Union anti-discrimination and human rights law. Since June 2015, Peter has been a Member of the Executive Committee of Amnesty International Hong Kong with responsibility for overseeing the organisation’s human rights work. In December 2017 Peter worked for Hagar International in Cambodia, doing policy work to further their assistance to victims of trafficking, sexual and other violence against women and children.
Previously for 11 years Peter worked in London United Kingdom in a number of human rights roles including at Amnesty International UK; the Commission for Racial Equality as Principal Litigation Officer and Head of European and International Legal Policy from 2005 to 2008; the Equality and Human Rights Commission as a Senior Lawyer and Director of Legal Policy from 2008 to 2012; and at the Commonwealth Secretariat in 2012 as a human rights consultant on Commonwealth projects.
Peter is also a co-author of several anti-discrimination law publications: Blackstone’s Guide to the Equality Act 2010, Oxford University Press, Three Editions 2010, 2012 and 2016; and Tort Law and Practice in Hong Kong, Sweet and Maxwell, Second Edition First Supplement 2013.

Mr Duffy Wong is currently the Consultant of Ho, Wong & Wong, Solicitors & Notaries. Over the past three decades, as a member or chairman, he has served on not less than 12 government and professional appeal boards and tribunals, management committees of funds and associations covering professions, securities, companies, tax, immigration, education, sports, housing, guardianship and fisheries. He was the Chairman of The HKICS in 1987/1988.
Mr Wong still chairs the HKSAR Passports Appeal Board, the Appeal Board (Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications Ordinance), the Disciplinary Tribunal of The HKICS, the Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence Steering Committee, and other bodies in these related fields.
He was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 2010 and awarded a Bronze Bauhinia Star by Hong Kong SAR Government in 2016 and awarded the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries Award in 2011 respectively in recognition of his contribution to the public and the Chartered Secretary profession, as well as supporting The HKICS in a Counselor role. Mr Wong is Fellow of The Association of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Hong Kong and HKICS.
